Dr. Braun Tueller is one of Psych Matter's medical providers. He is also the creator and founder of Psych Matter PLLC.

 

Dr. Braun Tueller graduated from George Washington University’s prestigious Physician Associate program in 2015. He was accredited by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Associates that same year.  Immediately after graduating, Braun began working as a PA psychiatrist for Centra Medical Group in Virginia. During his time there, he was nominated for psychiatric provider of the year. In 2017 Braun moved to Utah to join the University of Utah’s Huntsman Mental Health Institute where he became the first outpatient psychiatric PA the University had ever hired.

Over the better part of the next decade, Braun served in various capacities within his field of expertise. He served on the psychiatric specialty board for the Utah Academy of Physician Associates and became a psychiatric preceptor for Utah’s Physician Associate Program. In 2019 he was awarded the ‘Preceptor of the Year Award’ by the Utah Area Health Education Centers.

In 2024, Braun attained his Doctorate in Medical Sciences degree specializing in psychiatry from Rocky Mountain University’s Health Professions program. That same year he was awarded a Certification of Additional Qualification in Psychiatry from the NCCPA. With these achievements fulfilled, Dr. Tueller went on to become the first PA in the United States to become certified as a Utah PA Mental Health Clinician—an accomplishment which allowed him to create Psych Matter PLLC.
